Erika "Petite Pen" Smith

“Petite Pen” is a Atlanta, GA based artist with focus in illustration, but also fluent in multiple mediums. Due to the pandemic we took our Artist Inner-Views digitally so here are a few questions we asked Erika.

1. Explain who you are in 10 words or less?

Answer: I am a boy mom and wife with a passion for expressing emotion through art and writing.

2. How did you come up with your unique artist name?

Answer: I wanted a brand name that I felt most myself with, and I loved how feminine and complimenting the words Petite Pen fit together.

3. Explain how Co-Vid19 has affected you and how you overcame the hurdles?

Answer: I felt the mental struggles of being on lockdown away from friends, family and my office, however I felt like if I didn’t come out of it with new inspiration and closer to reaching my goals then I wasn’t doing something right.

4. BONUS: Do you prefer Waffle House or IHOP? And Why?

Answer: Waffle House. They are just my people. If you know, you know.
